Indie-punk four-piece band Fighting Fiction are set to release their brand new single “We Will Not Forget” on 6th May 2010 through Xtra Mile Recordings,  its not obscure coincidence that the release of this single with coagulate with the forthcoming general election.
Not intentionally a two-finger salute to the government in the traditional sentiment of a majority of punk music, rather a way to rouse some anger and pride into an entire generation of who are coming of voting age. The song stresses the power of the vote. Rather than a call of Anarchy; more a call of accountability. To speak your voice of politics and flare it into action.
Fighting fiction formed late 2007 in Bristol when they met in University. Born with a mutual passion for exthralling live performances, their sound creates an immense impact with Indie-rock guitar riffs, with Reggae tinged Punk and socially conscious lyrics. The lyrics are written with anguish, and sung with a passion.

"Stormin ' Norman ! Tight punchy playing and production with warped off-kilter lyrics in the great English tradition of songs like Arnold Layne and Tracy Jacks. A storming track." - Tom Rob inson (BBC 6 Music)
“Raucous and energetic, this is the stuff to lift the roofs off venues in a wash of raised beers and raised voices.Rocklouder 4/5
