 Writer: Ian S. Russell

It is being reported that Troubled brit-popper Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controled substatnce to a 31 year-old female who is suspected to have later died from the substance.

The female has been named as the granddaughter of Teddy Goldsmith, the founder of The Ecologist magazine -  she had been working on a documentary about Doherty before she died of a suspected overdose in an east London flat on January 24.

Pete is said to be helping police with there enquireys and has been bailed to attend court at a later date. This is another dark twist in the life of a man who has had drug problems on par with anyone I can remmember in recent history.
